OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS COMMITMENT TO IMPROVING DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE
The Office of Admissions denounces all forms of discrimination, racism, and bias, and vows to support our community members who continue to face inequities. We know, however, that words are not enough, and that a commitment to action will not suffice. We must demonstrate that we are taking that action. It will take courage to confront our past mistakes and our personal and institutional biases, to have difficult conversations, and to risk missteps.
MULTICULTURAL
COMMUNITY
As part of the U of M student community, you’ll find 200+ culturally focused student groups, nine student run cultural centers, 14 multicultural fraternities and sororities, and some of the oldest cultural studies programs in the United States.
At the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, you can celebrate your own culture and learn about others at z.umn.edu/CommunitiesUMN.
