ENROLLMENT
REQUIREMENTS
Just a couple more important things...
SUBMIT YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPT AND OTHER ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS
Prior to enrolling at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, all confirmed students need to submit official final transcripts and other academic documents.
Because strong academic preparation through the senior year of high school enhances the likelihood of student’s academic success, it is policy that students must meet the following before they are eligible to enroll:
1. Graduate from high school or pass the GED (or the equivalent) before fall semester begins.
2. Successfullycompletethecourseslistedontheir application as “to be completed during the senior year.”
3. SubmitanofficialACT,SATand/orEnglish Proficiency test score *
“Successful completion” of coursework is defined as achieving grades consistent with (or better than) earlier terms on the transcript. Each year, there are cases where admission is rescinded based on significant declines in senior year grades.
If you are making changes to your senior year courses, or are experiencing declining grades, you must consult with the Office of Admissions.
In order to verify that students have met these enrollment requirements, they must have their final high school transcript, including date of graduation, submitted to the Office of Admissions by July 1.
* If a student self-reported an ACT, SAT and/or English proficiency test score as part of their application, they must submit an official test score from the testing agency by July 1.
