Mortenson Scholarship in Engineering and Construction
The Mortenson Family Foundation created this scholarship in 2014 to ensure that students have the financial capacity to acquire engineering and construction skills and to express their appreciation for a quality educational institution. The scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students in the College of Science and Engineering or the College of Continuing and Professional Studies at the University
of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus who are studying civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or construction management.

Academic Awards
Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious academic honor society, founded on December 5, 1776. The University of Minnesota’s chapter was chartered in 1892. Phi Beta Kappa membership identifies students as being in the top 10% of liberal arts and sciences graduates at the University of Minnesota.
