 Students, too, embrace generosity
and the idea of paying it forward. The CEGE Graduating Class Gift is a grass roots initiative launched by the CEGE graduating class of 2018 and led most recently by 2022 graduates Emma Augdahl and Justin Babcock. Student leaders recognized that our students benefit in so many ways from the time, talent, and treasure given by our alumni and benefactors. Those graduating seniors decided to help future CEGE undergraduates. Succeeding classes have continued the gift, and it is already making an impact in the department.
In just a few short years, the CEGE Graduating Class Gift has supported the installation of a water-bottle filling station in the Civil Engineering Building, emphasizing students' commitment
to protecting our environment, and contributed to an undergraduate scholarship for a CEGE major.
