   A Whole Health Outlook
At the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, we know that oral health is about more than what happens in the mouth. It affects and is affected by overall health—and we are training practitioners and researchers who reflect that reality.
As a student at the School of Dentistry, you will work on comprehensive care teams across programs—but you will also engage with students across the health care spectrum.
   Office of Academic Clinical Affairs
The School of Dentistry is based in one of the most comprehensive education and research facilities for health professionals in the nation. The Office
of Academic Clinical Affairs at the University of Minnesota is working to reimagine health by driving innovation and discovery through collaborations across the University, advancing interprofessional care and training, and being a strong partner to the state, industry and community.
OACA facilitates bold ideas that promote interprofessional education, including an interprofessional intern program, funding for interdisciplinary research, embracing rural health care and telehealth, and serving as the front door for clinical work, research and training at the University.
Joining the School of Dentistry means you also join Clinical Affairs at the University of Minnesota. You become part of a health care community that is committed to working together from day one.
