Ann M. Bode, Ph.D.
INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In May of 2019 Dr. Ann M. Bode was appointed Interim Executive Director
for The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota as a national search began for the next Executive Director. Prior to being named Interim Executive Director, Dr. Bode served as Assistant and later Associate Director for over 15 years.
TRANSITION IN
As Associate Director and during the new era of cancer research, The Hormel Institute experienced great success with hundreds of research articles published in high impact scientific journals, millions of dollars in research grants secured and research labs growing from 5 to 20. Dr. Bode served on the steering committee for expansions
in 2008 and 2016, working with the team to ensure a world class medical research facility was developed.
