The Hormel Institute has 22 research sections accelerating answers to cancer and other chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s, and new this past year, COVID-19.
With experts coming to the Institute from around the country and from over 18 countries around the world, there is a unified passion and mission to make strides
in research leading to discoveries that will protect and strengthen human health. Each day The Hormel Institute scientists further research aiming for discoveries that take us a step closer to cures, new ways to prevent disease, and progress towards controlling disease.
Through their research Institute scientists seek to understand genetic aberrations that lead to cancer initiation and progression, epigenetic factors that impact cancer development, and fields such as immunology.
