As The Hormel Institute celebrates 80 years, we thank all who support The Hormel Institute for the opportunity to continue the legacy of research that started in 1942. With your important support, The Hormel Institute is able to continue its quest to advance discoveries that improve the health of the world – for the benefit of people today and future generations to come.
Since its inception, The Hormel Institute has been the major recipient of funds distributed from The Hormel Foundation to advance research. This support grew The Hormel Institute from a single lab in a renovated
horse stable to the vibrant biomedical research facility researchers enjoy today – and allows us to look to the future with excitement for what can be achieved. We are incredibly grateful for the important support of The Hormel Foundation and thanks to their funding, 100% of every dollar donated to The Hormel Institute goes directly to research.
