From the Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUGS) – Dr. Hiroshi Hiasa
Undergraduate education has re- turned to ‘normal’ (in-person instruc- tion) this year. As our campus wel- comed back un- dergraduate stu-
dents in-person, the number of students in our Pharmacology Minor increased to 102 at the end of the last academic year (May
2022). They were from 16 Major programs in 7 colleges - Colleges of Biological Sciences (CBS), College of Liberal Arts, College of Sciences and Engineering, College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS), College of Food, Agri- cultural and Natural Resources, School of Nursing, and Center for Learning Innova- tion (Rochester campus). I would like to thank our Course Directors and Instruc- tors for their outstanding instruction, and
Pharmacology Club
The Pharmacology Club is a Campus Life Program (CLP) that welcomes undergrad- uate students from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in pharmacology. The 2022 Pharmacology Club Executive Board consists of President Anna Alex, Vice-President Gianna Backowski, Co- Chair Adeleine Keenan, Event Coordinator
our department’s administrative staff for their excellent support. I would also like to thank the staff members of the CBS Student Services who administer the Phar- macology Minor and provide students with excellent academic advising, as well as Amy Burger Sanchez and the staff members of the CCAPS who administer the Inter-College Program area of concen- tration in Pharmacology.

Graduations
