We strive to ignite curiosity at every age, which is why we are so excited to have
expanded our summer camp experiences for middle school students. Through
partnerships with campus researchers at the Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve
and The Raptor Center, we were able to offer two new camp programs. Global
Change and Bird’s Eye View provide hands-on experiences in field and lab settings
on the Saint Paul campus.
Solution Studio is BACK!
Back by popular demand, this summer brought Solution Studio back to the museum!
This interactive exhibit connected visitors with research from the MSP Urban Long
Term Ecological Research project (MSP LTER), of which the Bell is a key partner.
In addition to featuring this research in Solution Studio the Bell has also developed an
onsite field trip lab for grades 7-8 students based on this collaboration, Science in the
City — studying animal behavior and ecology.
The Bell Museum partnered with the St. Paul Public Schools to
welcome families from high-need schools into the Bell Museum
for an evening of exploration and hands-on STEM activities!
The Bell looks forward to expanding
on this program in the future.
