Boynton Health uses an informed consent model for people 18 years old and older. Informed consent means that if someone can demonstrate that they are able to understand the risks, benefits and potential efects of hormone therapy, a medical provider will help them safely begin and continue hormone therapy. We collaborate with mental health professionals, primary care providers, pharmacy, surgeons and community partners as needed.
