May 16, 2020 Dear Graduates,
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota, let me first and foremost say CONGRATULATIONS! We are glad that we have found a way to celebrate your major achievement with your families, friends, and fellow students.
As your journey continues—here in Minnesota, across the nation, or around the globe—you will surely impact others as they in turn will impact you. I wish for you amazing opportunities, great friendships, and a future of possibilities.
As you go forth in your chosen fields, remember learning is a lifelong opportunity. I hope you will apply what you have learned from your time here with us and
also stay open to learning from everyone and everything in the days and years to come. It is this continuous process of discovery that allows us to deepen and use our gifts and to appreciate fully the greatest gift of all—the gift of learning.
