THE ENTHUSIAST MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR :
The spring semester was filled with a multitude of events, opportunities, and achievements for our program. Student groups were busy carrying on traditions while also finding new ways to be involved in the campus community. A busy April included the week-long 108th Minnesota Royal, a long-standing St. Paul Campus tradition that celebrates agriculture
in the past, present, and future. Additionally, we welcomed FFA members, teachers, and supporters to the University of Minnesota for the 95th Minnesota State FFA Convention. We are all so grateful for an eventful spring of great camaraderie with one another!
In this edition of The Enthusiast, you will get an update on all of the exciting happenings in the AECM program. You will meet some of our current students in the program who have bright futures in agriculture. Throughout this newsletter, you will hear words of wisdom from alumni, see the accomplishments of our students, and meet some of our student leaders.
The students, staff, and faculty in our program continue to excel in their accomplishments and create a vibrant community. The program is home to the next passionate and creative agricultural advocates who are bound to make a difference in their futures. I
am continuously inspired by this community, and I am so excited to share with you the amazing accomplishments of the AECM program from the Spring 2024 semester!
