MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The past year at The Hormel Institute has been one of tremendous growth and progress. We continue to work tirelessly to fulfill our vision of inspiring discoveries that improve and extend human life. As we reflect on the Institute’s 80 year history, we are excited about what the future has in store.
This year has marked the start of many endeavors that will help secure our place as one of the best research institutions in the world. We embarked on a strategic planning process, continued a culture initiative, and facilitated several Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs to ensure the Institute is on a trajectory of success and that we foster a welcoming, collaborative, productive, and healthy environment for all employees.
We had the great pleasure of celebrating the Institute’s 80th Anniversary with our community both locally and from around the state, region and nation. To mark this major milestone, we held three events to celebrate with state leaders, donors, collaborators, supporters, and community members, knowing we would not be where we are today without each and every one of you.
As we reflect on the tremendous growth and progress of the past 80 years, we are paving the way for the next 80 years of inspiring discoveries that extend and improve human life.
