On the Cover — 2019 Robot Show
Each year, students present the culmination of seven weeks of work at the Robot Show, the largest collection of robots in the Twin Cities. This year featured 200 robots including a Rubik’s Cube solver, a bike chain cleaner, a candy sorter, a saxophone that played the “Minnesota Rouser,” and more. Professionals from local industry served as judges, and graduate students were on hand as Robot Medics — led by Assistant Professor Tim Kowalewski, who taught the course.
