CSE’s New Dean is ME’s Newest Faculty Member
CSE has a new dean, and the best part (according to us, anyway) is
that he’s a mechanical engineer. Dr. Andrew Alleyne began in his new
role on January 10, 2022, and is a
full professor in the ME Department. Dean Alleyne comes to CSE from
the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, and brings decades of teaching, research, and leadership to the U. Alleyne is widely recognized for his research on developing innovative systems and tools for energy and power systems, manufacturing systems, and transportation systems. Welcome to ME, Dean Alleyne!
