 ABOUT ECP MISSION
The mission of the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology (ECP) is to discover, disseminate, and apply new knowledge related to safe, effective, and economical medication use in patients. ECP will educate students of pharmacy, post-graduate trainees, and others for careers in pharmacy and health care with the ultimate goal of improving health. The ECP faculty and staff actively engage in teaching and conduct research pertaining to experimental and clinical pharmacology and patient outcomes to identify and promote the use of the best therapies. Together, ECP strives to advance the science of human pharmacology and therapeutics, while maintaining the highest standards of ethics in research and education.
