JEN MOBERG, MPA, BSN, RN, CPPS, NE-BC Director of Nursing, Emergency Department
I have had the incredible opportunity to lead alongside our talented
ED team over the past few complex years. The ED continues to rise to the daily challenges of high acuity and increasing volumes - we exceeded budgeted volumes of 87,687 with a record trauma volume of 921.
We have together traversed a key East Metro hospital closure, a global pandemic, and a significant ED remodel all of which have been met with agility and confidence. This team continues to impress through their daily commitment to the communities we serve and to one another.
The culture of true teamwork is evident at Regions, our staff continue
to support one another as we individually navigate the professional
and personal hurdles of 2020-2021. I continue to be grateful for the intelligence and compassion of this team.
As we forge ahead into 2022 our key priorities include; a culture of
high reliability, a community of service, and continued focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our community continues to ask us to care for them differently and we are committed to listening and learning! Our ED leadership team is committed to support these priorities through partnerships with our simulation lab, ongoing educational opportunities, and continued performance and quality improvement projects. We appreciate the incredible partnerships with our residents and faculty as we move forward together!
