experience working within nutrition marketing and the
food industry, where my ability to communicate and leverage science-based topics allowed me to develop nutrition marketing objectives and strategic brand reputation management as a result of my education within the AESC minor.”
Eliza Endres, an Agricultural and Food Business Management major
and AESC minor from Waunakee, Wisconsin chose to add the AESC minor after transferring to UMN from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Eliza had this to say about her AESC minor:
“I chose to minor in Agricultural and Environmental Science Communication because of my agricultural background and my interest in communicating agricultural related topics.
This minor complimented my Agricultural and Food Business Management major very well
and it allowed me to hone my communication and marketing skills to prepare me for a career after graduation. Each one of the required courses for the minor have taught me applicable skills I will use in a future career, like how to use Adobe programs or how to effectively communicate through photography and video.”
