SHOWCASE
The fourth annual Agricultural Education, Communication & Marketing Student Showcase, held on December 6, 2023, not only highlighted the successes of our students’ hard work but also celebrated the opportunity for our students, alumni, donors, and friends to reunite on campus. We express our gratitude to all those who attended. Showcasing Excellence:
The AECM Student Showcase featured diverse highlights from the Agricultural Education, Communication and Marketing program. In the CHS Classrooms in the Learning and Environmental Sciences building, students presented their coursework and engaged with attendees through informational slides, AFNR learning experience stations, and glimpses into their future classrooms. Additionally, students in AECM 3452 honed their digital media skills, showcasing their photography work. The event also included presentations on career exploration and field experiences, trifold boards highlighting students’ competencies, philosophy statements, and the announcement of teacher candidates embarking on semester-long experiences. Notably, AECM alum Joe Ramstad received the Spirit Award for his significant impact on the program. Industry tours further enriched students’ experiences, with visits to companies like Land O’Lakes, Broadhead, and AFSA High School. This event showcases the AECM program’s holistic approach, combining practical experiences, professional development, and industry exposure to prepare students for successful careers in agricultural education, communication and marketing.
