Individual Career Coaching
Our GBCC professional career coaches can assist you with all aspects of your career development. From identifying the career best suited for you to evaluating job offers, your career coach will partner with you every step of the way.
Topics for career coaching discussions include, but are not limited to: • Career Exploration & Assessment

• LinkedIn Profiles
• Resume Development • Interviewing Skills
• Offers and Negotiation
Appointments are 30 minutes and can be done in-person, by phone, or virtually. Schedule your appointment in TalentLink.
Express Advising
Daily 10-minute drop-in meetings with a Career Coach are available for brief questions or resume reviews. Express advising is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Call or stop by the GBCC office for Express Advising days and times.
Contract Coaches
The GBCC has more than 20 Contract Coaches Specialized in a particular industry or function that make time available to students through TalentLink to dive deep into your area of interest.
Peer Coach Interview Practice
Small groups meet with a trained student facilitator to practice interview skills. This is an excellent way to receive feedback from your peers and get plenty of practice for upcoming interviews. These sessions are listed and available for registration in TalentLink.
Events and Workshops
The GBCC offers a number of networking events and workshops throughout the year to help you connect with key employer contacts and develop the skills necessary for your career development and job search.
