UMD’s award-winning Tutoring Center provides free tutoring for over 60 UMD courses in several subject areas, such as
Writers’ Workshop
The Writers’ Workshop offers free, one-to-one consultations to everyone on campus, from first-year students to professors. Sessions are designed to help you develop productive writing habits and revision strategies.
Writing consultants are graduate students or faculty members who work collaboratively with you on brainstorm- ing, planning, revising, and editing any project, in any discipline. Several have expertise in working with non-native speakers of English, and all are trained and eager to work with you!
