SSP Courses
The AWLC’s Student Success Program (SSP) faculty offer courses for students looking to improve their academics, promote their leadership skills, or learn to effectively assist fellow students.
SSP faculty also offer popular short courses on time and stress manage- ment, study skills, reading for college, and finding your purpose.

 • Add assigned readings to your to-do list along with other kinds of assignments. (SSP 1001)
• Be able to explain material you’re learning to someone else using examples, analogies, and visuals. (SSP 1001)
• Practice some slow breathing techniques when you feel stressed. (SSP 1002)
• Use a calendar or planner and combine your to-do lists with your weekly planning. (SSP 1002)
• Create your own study guides using both words and images. (SSP 1004)
• Use your professors’ office hours to get questions answered. They are here for YOU! (SSP 1004)
