We’re thankful for Teresa Chapman’s 12 years of service and we welcome Brett Carlson as the new director of the Eagles Cancer Telethon.
We are pleased to recognize Dr. Harald & Patricia Schmid for their generous endowment gift to benefit research at HI. Dr. Schmid was a researcher for more than 40 years at The Hormel Institute, including serving as Exec- utive Director from 1985-2001. He is credited with pivoting the Institute to cancer research in the 1990s, leading to great expansion. Patricia (Pat) also worked at the Institute as a researcher for 40-plus years.
