We are the top provider of children’s healthcare
in Minnesota and an international destination for patients with rare diseases or requiring complex care. We harness the depth and breadth of our full faculty and community partnerships to provide cutting-edge, easily accessible, family-focused care that centers health equity and advocacy for the wellbeing of all children.
Education
We attract and inspire learners from across the professional lifespan to our internationally recognized, interdisciplinary and innovative educational programs. We are distinguished by a focus on advocacy, equity and our patients’ needs as we ensure the next generation’s readiness for the future of pediatric medicine and new research discovery through the creation and support of lifelong learners.
Research
We are recognized as a top ten pediatric research department that empowers all faculty to be researchers and supports multiple pathways for faculty engagement in research. We lead the way in translating medical discoveries into best treatment practices and policy change with the goal of reducing health disparities and improving child health and wellbeing.
