New Faculty 2021
  Coordinators
We continued to navigate through challenging times in 2021, but we were able to bring back most of our traditional residency education, activities, and events.
We kicked off Alumni Day with a round of golf and lunch. Featured speakers included Sue Cullinan (’01),
Cynthia Kelmenson (’03), Topher Obetz (’03),
Kurt Isenberger (’04), Kelly Rhone (’04),
Marty Richards (’06), Brent Walters (’10), Eric Roth (’11),
JR Walker (’12), Maria Goertz (’16), Jackie Hegarty (’17),
Alan Sazama (’17), Priya Sury (’19), and Amy Borys (’20)
who all joined in-person or virtually. Alumni – please stay in
touch and keep us updated if you move or transfer to a different job.
We welcomed the class of 2024 and said farewell to the class of 2021 with a graduation celebration at Allianz Field. New graduates Mike DeBoer (’21) and Brad Stroik (’21) joined as faculty in our community-based valley hospitals.
All annual meetings were offered virtually this year. We hope to return back to in-person opportunities in 2022. Let us know if you plan to attend – it’s a great way to stay connected.
We have interviewed many phenomenal candidates. We look forward to another great match for the class of 2025. We are grateful for all of the memories we’ve created this year and the ones we will make in 2022.
