96th national ffa convention
At the 96th National FFA Convention, eight University of Minnesota students received their American FFA Degree! The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable for FFA members and recognizes the member’s dedication to
their chapter, state and supervised agricultural experience. Congratulations to the University of Minnesota recipients listed below.

2023 National ATA Conclave
The University of Minnesota’s Alpha Tau
Alpha (ATA), Alpha Alpha Chapter competed
in the 2023 National ATA Conclave held in conjunction with the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN, November 1-3, 2023. Ten University of Minnesota CFANS undergraduates represented Agricultural Education, Communication and Marketing at the event, competing in Quiz Bowl, Debate, Parliamentary Procedure, and Program of Excellence.
Our exceptional students proudly secured third place in Quiz Bowl, an impressive second place in Debate, and an outstanding first place in Parliamentary Procedure! Their remarkable achievements were acknowledged with the prestigious Platinum level Nolan Award!
