    Your U Card identifies you as a UMD student. You’ll use it in a number of ways around campus including access to
the residence hall concourse as a student living on campus.
DO • Store your U Card in a protective sleeve or case
• Keep your U Card in a secure place
• Monitor your U Card balances
• Carry your U Card with you on campus
DO NOT • Punch a hole in your card
• Lend your U Card to anyone
• Put your U Card near a magnet
UMD students ride the Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) buses FREE
(the cost is included in University fees) with a U Card. The DTA has convenient routes to campus and most parts of the city.
Buses are equipped with bike racks.
You can also access DTA routes and schedules on Bulldog Mobile in the Parking & Transportation module.
             Your U Card allows you to check out materials from the Kathryn A. Martin Library.
   Enter the recreational sports center and computer labs with your U Card.
Get discount tickets for campus events and performances.
Use your U Card for UMD Stores and Print Shop charges.
Use your meal plan or Dining Dollars at dining locations aross campus with your U Card.
